About the role: This exciting position is with Dataprise’s Managed Security Service Program (MSSP) and provides technical expertise as a Cyber Security Engineer.

What You’ll Do:
- Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
- Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
- Perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space. Interact with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup recovery.
- Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- May be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.
- Career level with a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts.
- Working under only general direction, provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
- Independently determines and develops an approach to solutions.
- Function as an infrastructure engineer for the build and support of the Azure Sentinel environment.
- This involves designing system solutions, implementing new features, resolving complex incidents and problems, responding to infrastructure monitoring and alerts, and consulting with application support and development staff.
What Skills & Experience You’ll Need:
- 2-5 years of SIEM, cyber security, and cyber engineering experience; Azure Sentinel SIEM experience is top priority.
- Deep technical understanding of core current cyber security technologies as well as emerging capabilities.
- Hands-on cyber security experience (Protect, Detect, Respond and Sustain) within a Computer Incident Response organization.
- Demonstrated understanding of the life cycle of cyber security threats, attacks, attack vectors and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs).
- CND experience (Protect, Detect, Respond and Sustain) within a Computer Incident Response organization.
- Experience in a 24x7 environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients, team members and upper management.
- Strong collaborative skills.
- Self-discipline to work according to playbook and time requirements.
- Passion for cybersecurity and staying up-to-date with current threats, tools and techniques
- Willingness to learn new security technologies, products, incident analysis, and response approaches.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- We have a comprehensive Compensation Management System which establishes the guidelines we use in making compensation decisions and is comprised of compensation policies, salary structures, salary grades, incentive target guidelines, job descriptions, and career charts.
- This position’s Salary Range is $75,000-$100,000 (NOTE: this is the range at the national average level; specific salaries offered will be adjusted higher/lower due to the local labor market of the candidate. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons).
